This balloon demo moves a group of large bouncing rotating balloon sprites around the screen. The program was originally written for an 18th birthday party.
This example is a version of the classic memory game, where you flip cards to find the matching pairs. Each time a pair is located, you're awarded a score. When all pairs are matched you win! Pretty simple game mechanic, but it can be a pretty enjoyable little game.
This is Micky4fun's 4th game which was originally written way back 2008. The game is a simple vertical scrolling shoot'em up similar in style to classic arcades video games such as 1942 / 1943.
This is just a little remake (of sorts) of a game called Sabotage from the Apple II days. The project is simply meant as another 'mini' game example for users to pick through. While the game is inspired by an old Apply II game and currently even uses some images from that (As you can no doubt tell ) it's not direct remake, since I can't remember it exactly.. But close enough will do . It's a sort of like a missile command game where you control the gun turret and have to shoot down attacking enemy planes and paratroopers. Once the paratroopers reach the ground they will attack your turret with machine gun fire. If the turret cops too much flak you're dead....
This package includes a hand full of solutions for controlling a character on the X axis, The Y axis and the combined XY axis (8 direction movement). The package includes version of the demos for keyboard and JoyPad as well as bigger example with a fully animated Doggie character.
This is a little remake of the classic coin-op video game FROGGER. We wrote the code purely as an example for a fellow PB forum member (in a few hours) so while it's not a complete remake of the original game, it does contain all of the basic mechanics of the game. At least from what I can remember, which isn't much.
The aim of this sample is build some simple 'run away from the player' styled behavior into our dumb game actors, which are represented by simple blobs.
